Missions

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

As a Church of the Nazarene, we are part of a global movement committed to making Christlike disciples in every nation. Our mission is rooted in compassion, fueled by prayer, and carried out through acts of service—both near and far. Whether it’s feeding families in our own community or supporting missionaries across the world, we believe every believer has a role to play.

Ready to be part of something bigger?
Pray. Give. Go. Let’s live the mission—together.

Global Missions

Operation Christmas Child

As a local Drop-Off Center, CCN offers materials, information, and help for the Samaritan’s Purse project called Operation Christmas Child.  Each year we pack and receive shoeboxes filled with Christmas gifts for children around the world who receive hope and love while receiving their gifts. Collection Week happens each year in early November.

ACTION PAK'D Day

Each year, our Northwest Ohio District NMI gathers people of all ages—4 to 104!—for a hands-on day of mission and ministry. Together, we worship, build community, and pack essential supplies for Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, including Crisis Care Kits and School Pal Paks. These simple gifts become lifelines for neighbors near and far, offering hope in times of need.
It’s more than packing—it’s participating in God’s compassionate mission.

Join us and be part of the action!

Local Missions

Big Serve

Big Serve is a weekend for every church in Northwestern Ohio to join together and serve their communities. Projects can vary from community to community and may include assisting local non-profit organizations such as shelters, food pantries, and senior adult services.  Churches can also volunteer with local schools and parks to assist with projects such as weeding, painting, and maintenance.  Churches may also take this opportunity to bless and show appreciation to first responders, teachers and veterans.

Ch-Ki-Lo Food Pantry

Ch-Ki-Lo Food Pantry is our local choice food pantry in which people are able to select their own food and have control over what they eat.  It serves the 45806 area and parts of the 45895 around Cridersville.  The Food Pantry is an outreach ministry of Cridersville United Methodist Church and we are proud to support them.  We regularly make donations to this ministry and would love to plug you in either to meet a need or to volunteer.  Ch-Ki-Lo Food Pantry is at 510 E. Sugar St. in Cridersville.

Nazarene Inside Bible Institute

The Nazarene Inside Bible Institute (NIBI) is a ministry of our church that teaches, trains, and equips incarcerated men at the Allen-Oakwood Correctional Institution to become pastoral leaders. Rooted in the belief that no life is beyond the reach of grace, NIBI offers theological education, spiritual formation, and mentorship to those answering God’s call from behind prison walls.

We’ve seen firsthand how the gospel transforms hearts—and how those hearts, in turn, become vessels of hope and healing within the prison community. These men are not just students; they are shepherds in the making.

Nursing Home Ministry

We are happy to offer special monthly services for our local nursing home, Cridersville Healthcare Center at 603 E. Main Street. If you would like to be a part of this ministry offering fellowship and worship to those inside, we would love for you to join us.
